Description of the
The EP-1-STRAIN-24_SD85 measuring bridge amplifier is an intelligent universal strain gauge interface card for the direct connection of strain gauges and load cells. The device can be connected to any suitable device that supports the SDI-12 network.
The card has an SDI-12 and an RS485 connection, which can be selected by the user via industry standard configuration commands.
The EP-1-STRAIN is user programmable and can provide results in both raw and engineering unit format. A precision temperature sensor input is available for applications that require temperature compensation.
The sensor monitors the bridge excitation during the measurement and automatically compensates for any excitation fluctuations during the data conversion process.
