Description of the
The EnerLog G201 is a data logger for all types of analogue sensors. It is designed for use in geotechnical, structural and environmental monitoring. The G201 can read various types of sensors with different analogue signal types (4-20mA, mV/V, V, PT100, NTC) and all vibrating wire sensors.
The G201 is available in four versions: 4, 8, 12 and 16 channels. Each channel has a four-pole terminal strip that can be used to supply power to the transducer and to receive analogue signals. The function of the 4-pole terminal strip changes depending on the type of device connected.
In cases where the sensor only has two conductors, such as with some 4-20mA, vibrating wire and NTC sensors, two sensors can be assigned to each individual channel. For example, a vibrating wire sensor and its temperature values can be read out on the same channel. The G201 can thus become a 4 + 4, 8 + 8, 12 + 12 and 16 + 16 channel data logger.
