Description of the

ETH Zurich is currently constructing a new building on the Hönggerberg, where it is testing several innovative technologies and new components made from Swiss hardwood. The office building, which is also a research laboratory, is due to be inaugurated in May 2015.

In this research project, eight of our KMD 1000/100/80 load cells are used to preload the wooden beams. Our load cells fulfil the highest demands in terms of accuracy and robustness.
